Is grass-fed beef "sustainable" enough?

I decided to look into the ecological impact of grass-fed beef, mainly because it sounded like an easy, delicious addition to a 100-mile diet.

Of course, CAFO-beef lead miserable lives and are fed the wrong foods, which are also very costly on the environment.

However, the picture painted by one particular writer convinced me that meat will remain, for the time being, an exceptional part of my diet.

In the process of looking at this, I found two more cool websites:

The Stanford University sustainable living site
The "eat well" site, which can be searched for local farms
and the article on grass-fed beef.

Happy reading, hunting and eating!
